Chassis flex on the Mustang uni body design has always been a problem, especially on the convertibles.
To fix this-install a set of BBK Gripp Mustang Sub-frame connectors with seat bracket reinforcements for improve strength. Available to fit all 94-04 Mustang V6, GT and Cobra’s.
They are manufactured with super strong boxed steel that will help give your uni-body Mustang the handling and feel of a full-frame chassis. These new sub frame kits are now available that feature - “seat mounting brackets” for additional strength and safety. All BBK sub-frame connectors feature die-stamped brackets and hardware for a direct bolt on application or they can be welded in place for maximum strength.(recommended)
All sub frame connectors are fully sealed and powder coated charcoal grey metallic for Great looks and a quality finish.
Please Note:
Some Mustang Cobra models and convertibles require removal of front bracket on subframe connector to clear transmission Cross member.
