ALTA Air Diverter
ALTA Performance has developed an aggressive intercooler air diverter for your Supercharged MINI Cooper. While the stock hood scoop and plastic intercooler diverter may do a reasonable job for the average MINI buyer, the more serious enthusiast will appreciate our simple, inexpensive way to improve air flow and increase efficiency of the stock intercooler. Plus the sleek design and rich textured powdercoating is sure to spruce up your engine bay!
Function
To increase the airflow over the intercooler, we have made our diverter both taller and wider than the factory unit, to take advantage of all available incoming air. Plus our air diverter seals nicely to the bottom of the hood to ensure proper airflow, while giving a custom look and without damaging the finish.
Looks Cool
The ALTA Air diverter features a texture powder coated black or red finish which protects the aluminum from corrosion and looks great too!
Performance
Our testing has shown consistent post intercooler inlet air temperature reductions by 5-10 degrees with just the larger diverter. Expect even bigger results in high speed and hot weather conditions.
Add Cool Couplers
Add a dash of color, or keep with a stealth look, but either way our ALTA Intercooler Couplers are a great addition to your ALTA Air Diverter.
