Ferrea Gasket - BB 4640 CO 038 Marin - G50008

The Ferrea Competition Gaskets aremanufactured with an internal Solid Steel Plate covered on both sides with a thin Non-Asbestos Compound (a Ferrea exclusive compound), which resists extreme temperatures. The Solid Steel Plate is treated with a non-corrosivematerial at high temperature. These three components are subject to a compression process at high pressure (double the normal engine torque pressure), to provide superior strength to the gasket.

The gasket features a wide Stainless Steel Combustion Seal on the gasket’s bore that will ensure the absence of any marks or grooves after use on aluminumcylinder heads, but also retain strength for those demanding high cylinder pressure applications.

This is a permanent torque gasket and it comes with a silicone sealant applied for immediate use.
