Banks Power 24244 Sidewinder Turbo System, Non-Intercooled, w/AutoMind Handheld Programmer 2005-2006 Jeep Wrangler, 4.0L I-6
Banks Power Sidewinder Turbocharger Kits are specially designed to operate by using your engine's exhaust gasses to spin the turbine wheel, driving the compressor through a common shaft. The kits use an oil feed line from the engine to the turbocharger shaft assembly to achieve lubrication of the shaft bearings, after which the oil is returned to the engine. This allows the compressor to draw air through the air cleaner and forces it into the engine at a much greater density and pressure, resulting in full burning of the available fuel and improved performance and efficiency.
